When will it stop? I have two sons, one is almost four and the baby is almost two. Yeah, I know, oops. Anyway, I expect the baby to be in diapers. He has no idea how to do anything else on command, like sit down or stop, so of course he can't pee in the potty. However, my older son is still in pullups. We had him potty trained, but then he had to have a colostomy. Still no peeing problems. But now that he's had the colostomy reversed, we have to keep him in a pullup all the time for his unpredictable bm's. And now he won't even PEE in the potty. It is driving me crazy! And we've gone through almost an entire pack of pullups in about 4 days. We are going straight to the poorhouse. Ugh! And his little bum is all red and (slightly) bloody from all the wiping. I feel like the worst mommy ever, because I am so frustrated. I know it's not his fault that he can't poop in the potty right now, but I'm the one at home ALL DAY cleaning it up!
Wow, it feels kind of good getting that out. Any ideas from other moms? Or ideas on where I can make some extra money legally, to pay for the mountains of pullups?
In other news, I'm trying to learn more about this whole blogging thing. I know that my "baby" brother has one, but I don't know the first thing about how to manage this new bit. I'd also like to talk about my Sweetie, but he knows about this and may read it occasionally. Wonder if he would mind me mentioning him. I would think not, since no one knows who we are!!
I had been dreading this social event all day. I'm not the best at meeting new people. I tend to get really nervous. I'd been trying to think of excuses not to go. But Sweetie really wanted to go, and I did too, if only to meet the other people in his Greek class. And it was fun. I met some really nice people. We didn't stay too long, because Cheeseman was fussy, but it was still a good time. You should have seen Sweetie's face light up when I said I wanted to go again, on other Friday nights. It was totally all worth it.
